The newly launched phone from the house
of South Korean electronics giant LG, the LG G2 is magnetically
attracting smartphone lovers. The phone is loaded with lots of features
which are impressive on all fronts. It is one of the best Android Phone
among the currently available smartphones. One of the most attention
catching feature of this phone is the camera. Before we talk about the
camera in detail let us go through the basic parameters that are looked
in every phone.
Design and Build
The phone is very beautifully designed
and light weight. It feels soft in the hands to hold it, even being
large screen phone it fits in the hand and doesn’t feels bulky. The
power and the volume rocker keys are placed below the camera at the back
of the phone. It is a different placement that you won’t find in other
phones. The SIM tray is given at the left side and there is infrared
blaster port at the top edge. The bottom edge has Micro USB port along
with speaker grills and 3.5mm headset jack.
Display
The LG G2 has 5.2 inch full HD IPS LCD
display of resolution 1080×1920 pixels with pixel density of 423
pixels-per-inch (ppi). The display screen is made up of scratch
resistant Gorilla Glass 3, so you don’t have to worry about wear and
tear. The display sharpness, color accuracy, above average viewing
angles and clarity is very impressive in this phone. Watching videos and
playing games is an amazing experience. The unique feature about G2
display is the almost absent bezel at the surroundings. This is the
feature where no other phone stands even close to G2. Overall I can say
LG has offered the best display in this phone, that you can’t get in any
other phone.

The Camera
Camera is the most interesting and
exciting feature of LG G2. With G2, LG has given the most quickest
camera, faster than any other smartphone to date. The camera is 13
megapixel and comes with 9 point auto focus this enables fast and
accurate capturing of moving objects and images having multiple faces.
The phone offers 8x zoom and also has 2.1 MP front camera for video
calling. Another killer feature of LG G2’s camera is the Optical Image
Stabilizer (OIS), because of which you can take good photos even when
there is a shake while capturing. Another impressing feature is the dual
recording feature, that enables you to record simultaneously from both
the front and back cameras.
The phone comes with LG’s own camera
app, which has many useful controlling features. The app’s voice
activated shutter, lets you shoot photos with your voice inputs like
cheese, ‘LG’, ‘Smile’ and ‘Whisky’. In the time catch mode, G2’s camera
app starts taking shots before you can click the shutter and offers you
the five brilliant looking pictures to choose. For action capturing the
app features burst photo mode that captures up to 20 images in swift
continuation.
LG’ G2 camera also performed better than
iPhone 5, Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy S4, HTC One, Motorola Moto X
and DROID Ultra on many parameters in the PhoneArena Camera comparison
